The above photo was taken before the big wipe out! I put Cash down in on the beach and daddy snapped this shot. Then Eric went to take off his flipflops and a wave came and knocked Cash over... and he was rolling in the surf. The following photo shows an after shot... i felt so bad i didn't grab him fast enough.... but then i wish Eric had the camera to catch it on film, because his expression was priceless... needless to say... Cash did not want me to let go of him the rest of the day....

Take Me out to the Ball Game

Cash went to his first baseball game this week! Actually we had the opportunity to go twice. Cash had so much fun! Daddy caught a ball for him and Cash also posed on the big screen. This was a fun family event.
The next game we saw the game from the box seats with Gram & Paw Paw!! Gram & Cash hang out inside eating Daddy's Birthday Cake. Cash is just playing with the water bottle, it's empty... but he has mastered the sippy cup! He's such a big boy!!

Baby Cash has started eating solids. I waited until a week before he was 6 months old. He loves it! Everyone told me to be prepared... for the spitting it out.... but that didn't happen. He loves sweet potatos (like mom) and bananas! He also enjoys eating apples, carrots, squash, rice cereal and oatmeal cereal. I have been making homemade baby food! It's quite easy, less expensive and can be frozen!

Baby Cash's 1st Birthday Cake... My very talented friend, Shannon (who just had a baby boy in September) made Baby Cash his first birthday cake ... and brought it to us in the hospital!!

Isn't it beautiful??? I can't wait for Baby Cash & Shannon's son Baby Jack to have their 1st play date!!

I couldn't resist!! This is the most adorable photo of two guys in my life... This is my big brother Ronnie hanging out with my nephew Walker. Walker is my younger brother's son... and lives in Tennessee with mommy Holly & daddy Brandon! He is the first grandchild in the Welch family!! My brother Ronnie, Uncle Ronnie also lives in Tennessee and gets to hang with Walkman much more than I do!! Don't they look so happy!??!!
